With terrain encompassing wetlands, rivers and sandstone escarpments, it\u2019s home to some 2,000 plant species and wildlife from saltwater crocodiles and flatback turtles to birds. Aboriginal rock paintings, dating to prehistoric times, can be viewed at sites such as Nourlangie, Nanguluwur and Ubirr.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As they did not get alot of rain this year Jim Jim falls was not only got to see the south part of Kakadu as we had limited time and lost of km of dirt road to get to the falls etc.  Damn, we will just have to go back again
